The Para Hills Rock and Rollers S.A. social dance is held at the Starlight Lounge every Tuesday night, excluding public holidays.

The PHRRSA social dance is open to the general public and offers free beginners basic 50's rock and roll dance classes included
in the entry cost.

The free beginners dance classes are available to anyone wanting to learn 50's rock n roll dancing, those wanting to learn a
different dance style, and/or for those wanting to add a new style their existing 50's rock and roll dance repertoire.

Time: 7.00PM - 10.00PM Tuesday night. (Closed public holidays.)

• Doors open: 7.00PM.
• Beginners dance class: 7:30PM - 8:30PM.
• Intermediate & social dancing: 8:30PM - 10:00PM.

Dance Styles:

• S.A. Pub Rock. (Simplified beginners Rock 'n' Roll.)
• Party dancing.
• Line dancing.
• Partner dancing.

Entry: $5.00 per person.

Wednesday Night 50's Rock and Roll Dance Classes.

Starlight Lounge Beginners 50’s Rock and Roll Dance Classes.

Class Duration: 1 hour class followed by 2 hour social dance.

Dance Style: East Coast Swing / Traditional 50's Rock and Roll.

As a pre-launch our proposed new schedule of traditional 50’s rock and roll dance classes
we are offering 10 x 6 week scholarships (free dance classes) for couples wanting to learn
traditional 50’s rock ‘n’ roll. The scholarships are fully funded by the Starlight Lounge and
are only available to those with no previous dance class experience or dance experience.

Saturday Afternoon 50's Rock and Roll Dance Classes.

The Legends Rock and Roll Club dance classes are held at the Starlight Lounge every Saturday afternoon from 12PM-2PM.

The LRRC dance classes are open to legends members, as well as the general public, and offers beginners basic 50's
rock and roll dance class and line dance/partner dance class.

Time: 12:00PM - 2:00PM Saturday. (Closed public holidays.)

• Doors open: 11.30AM.
• Beginners dance class: 12PM - 1:00PM.
• Line dance class & social dancing: 1:00PM - 2:00PM.

Dance Styles:

• Simplified beginners 50's Rock 'n' Roll.
• Party dancing.
• Line dancing.
• Partner dancing.

Cost:

• Legends Members: Free.
• Non-Members: $5.00 per person.
